* My friends, I am Aaron, glad to be here with you this evening to express our appreciation for your efforts to increase your spiritual awareness. We perceive this luminosity growing as you connect with one another to share the camaraderie, the brother and sisterhood. Your common recognition as siblings helps to give you perspective as you go and engage in your lives, trying to maintain the thread of human/spirit connection in your interactions.
We recognize where you struggle, and it is interesting to us how you can, on the one hand, be so loving and giving, striving to be kind and generous, while on the other hand, be less forgiving of your own difficulties, or your weaknesses, so to speak. We would ask you to try and see yourselves in the same light that you strive to see others and let go of the judgment. Recognize that the moments of turbulence or weakness are just that, momentary lapses. Allow yourselves the healing energy of love and as you accept this gift for yourself it allows you to spread this love and healing energy outward more readily.
Know that our Father hears our prayers for healing, for enlightenment. We hope that you, as you proceed forth to deal with the challenges of your circumstances, can see in the light of spiritual mindedness, recognizing the potentials that arise even in difficulties, when one endeavors to connect with their highest spiritual reality in response to their environment.
I thank you for the opportunity to share a few words this evening, and am willing to respond to any inquiries if there are any.
J: I don’t have any, but I just wanted to say it’s nice to hear from you Aaron.
* Aaron: Yes, my friend. It is a pleasure to hear from you. I certainly have been privy to your spiritual endeavors and look forward to your progress. Feel free to inquire anytime.
J: Thank you.
S: I have a client whose daughter has overdosed multiple times, has been clean for a while, but who has chosen to go back to her ex who is abusive and was selling drugs. It’s obviously challenged my client and challenged myself. It’s so frustrating when someone chooses to go back into a negative lifestyle, particularly for the parent who’s terrified her daughter’s going to die. I would love any words of encouragement both for her and myself, to help me guide her on the path to keep her moving forward even though her daughter has seemingly gone backwards.
* Aaron: Indeed, it is difficult to watch someone you love make decisions that are less than beneficial. There is a deep yearning on our part for our Urantia brethren to find that sense of connection to their core which builds purpose and provides healing and balancing. So many of these relationships you undergo which are less than healthy, are still borne of a desire to be connected, to not feel lost. It is very difficult in the throes of addiction, whether chemical, mental, or emotional, to provide lasting guidance. Truly the best one can do is to provide a loving example and encourage viewing things in a different way. Unfortunately, just as we cannot make you do what we think would be most beneficial for you, it is exceedingly difficult for parents or friends or loved ones to force someone toward better decision making. Free will choice requires each to make those decisions. So from your perspective, the best you can offer is the willingness to listen, to empathize, and to encourage your client, your friend, to seek within for the best ways that they can be of service to their child. No one answer will suffice from an external source.
S: Thank you.
* Aaron: Despite all the things you face on your world today, we recognize an underlying thread of hope. Do not fear for the future. Focus on what you would like to see and apply your energy toward manifesting the qualities you would like to see reflected in the world. Each time you provide a sort of microcosm of goodness in your environment, it adds to the overall growth and development of the whole.
We do not believe your world will fail, for Michael has told us this will not happen, and although there is heartache and tragedy, there is also inspiration and goodwill and a desire to find answers to the challenging questions of your time. You may not see it always, but vast numbers of people are asking questions about their existence and how life can be better and when these questions are being asked it allows us the opportunity to answer. It allows the indwelling spirit to provide enlightenment and help build a growing movement toward light and life.
