From the beginning I was precocious and had an exploratory mind. Murat had an image that you are in an old barn, some of the roof tiles are gone and there are splashes of sunshine, which looks different from where I'm standing. There is long questioning until the day you dare to step across and everything looks different. Then you look up and your journey to the source of light has just begun.
Most people are dancing in the dark. So stand in the light. There is no barrier or dividing line. My spiritual practice has evolved from vague, WHIRLING DERVISH to where there is a spiritual transformation process.
When I connected with the teachers, I promised to sit every day before breakfast. So, I do that every day. Some days I feel like I'm checking in, other times its a journey and timeless. More recently, I feel I don't have to make a distinction between my sit times, which doesn't mean I don't have struggles.
I recommend CENTERING. It's all about centering. Do the switches, side to side, Key 27s, the soft spot, and hold your belly button. By holding that you are activating the ri, the left brain connection. Its relationship to the world is brought to the center. That's the 1st above. Second, below lip which activates the limbic system. It's about depth perception and connecting rational/emotional person. 3rd: tip of tail bone. It connects sensory things and it is correlated in the hippocampus. If the switch isn't on we get caught up in the past or future. We are unable to come into the moment and be centered in time, now. This comes from a healing tradition and I put it into a spiritual context.
