Aaron: My friends, be in the silence with us for a few more moments and feel the presence of one who knows all of us at our essence and in our core. (A minute of silence)
The antidote to hate is love; the antidote to chaos is calm. The world you live on is beautiful, rugged, with peaks and valleys, wonders of nature and architectural developments. Astounding vistas abound, and yet within and among all of this there is doubt, there is fear, uncertainty, troublesome occurrences, unintentional and deliberate evil, but there is also love and kindness, cooperation, resolve, intention to do what is right and good.
If the battle between dark and light was going to be easy then the need to develop personalities that can withstand such trials and tribulations would not be necessary. Our suggestion when you begin to falter, become exasperated, to doubt or fear, is to break it down into smaller segments than what you are currently perceiving and find what you can do in those moments to be different from what you fear, to be responsive from a positive viewpoint. Can you be a faith filled child of God in this moment and then make it last a moment longer, and then a moment longer?
There are times when looking at the big picture is necessary and there are times when getting focused on the smaller perspective is necessary. Usually these correspond to your level of doubt and despair. As you feel these emotions come to you, the recognition that you may need to narrow your viewpoint and find a focus may be prevalent. Sometimes one thing at a time leads to larger occurrences that are more fruitful. Therefore, we encourage you to start each day with the centering stillness, invite the cooperation of your indwelling spirit to help you see those little things you can do to help turn the drops into the trickle into the stream into the river which becomes the oceans.
You have the resources available to you and while you may believe sometimes, that the black patches (of evil) have become larger than the white background (of goodness), recognize still that the white background is larger and that goodness happens more often than evil which is why it can seem so devastating when contrasted with what you hear about, read about, and see in the media of various forms. Perhaps reminding each other and others about this core of goodness more often will help to broaden perspectives and bring hope and build resolve toward producing more acts of kindness .
I am Aaron. It is good to be with you tonight. Trust me, we do see what you see. We just have the fortune of more experience and a larger network of resources built into our awareness at the current time so that the happenings on your world do not seem quite as distressing as it may seem to you. Sometimes out of chaos new possibilities emerge quite rapidly and what you think may be leading to fall and ruin can ultimately be a temporary recognition of what it is that you do not want before realizing what can be and what will be.
So have faith. Lean on us as needed. Reach toward the spirit within you, who will certainly be reaching back, and from that connection, your perspectives will find some clarity and perhaps open the possibilities for you to become more representative of what you would like to see in the world. That is all from me tonight. My love to you.
Question: Aaron I have a comment, it was going to be a question but then you said we do see what you see. That was somewhat confirming and I think what is so challenging in these times is that people we admire and respect and know are intelligent are seeing something different than what we see and this is part of the distress. So I will leave it there. Thank you for your words.
* Aaron: Yes, my friend, the differences in perspectives, while often being attributed to just being differences in personalities, are also augmented by the fact that your societal sense of truth has fractured, such that there are multiple medias which frame the debate, so to speak, depending upon one’s proclivities of a political nature. No longer is there a truly independent media that comes across as an authoritative source. This fracturing allows one to confirm their own beliefs over and over again with little input from other beliefs except to dismiss them when not coming from their preferred source.
The challenge here is how to bring people back to a place where they are cross communicating again, such that there is more cross fertilization of ideas rather than seeking to confirm one’s own biases. I would add that this is a troubling factor even for us at this time, despite our optimism that things can change.
Separating truth from falsehood, fact from fictions, even news from entertainment, will take time. The resonance to the truth is born from contemplation and becoming centered in the presence of the spirit of truth. Thus our most immediate concern on your world is how to encourage the practice of stillness and contemplation, not just from those who know us here, but for those who have slowly drifted away from their spiritual paths in a more modern and agnostic world, and those who have never been attuned. Of course this will require some activity by humans to bring it into the forefront and the mindset of the populace. Perhaps something to contemplate is how best to encourage stillness and contemplation, not only for yourselves, but for others.
